Deb Koester

I am teaching second grade at Appleton/Milan Elementary School. I taught 1st and 2nd grade in Madison before coming to the Appleton site. This is my 15th year of teaching in a classroom.

My husband and I live in Madison and we have 2 grown children. We attend the Presbyterian church in Dawson. I have many outside interests that keep me very busy. I love to read, knit, bowl, golf, camp, take trips, attend plays and concerts, play Bunco and I enjoy any time that I am able to spend with my family. I am also a member of our local Red Hat group.

When you read articles on improving your life, the one thing that always stands out is to ENJOY what you do. I love teaching and hope I bring some of my energy and happiness to the students I see everyday.
