I teach first grade Math here at Appleton/Milan Elementary every morning. The other half of my job is to be the building principal. I have to admit I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I get to be a principal and work with a wonderful dedicated staff, parents, and the greatest kids in the world. AND I still get to teach, which is the most rewarding career in the world. I have been teaching here in Appleton for over 25 years. I have my Masters in Elementary Education from the U of M and my Principal licensure from St. Cloud University. Until this year I was a kindergarten teacher and loved that, but this year I am finding out I love teaching math to first graders.

I feel that parent support is essential to educating students and their future success. If you ever need to get a hold of me please call or stop in. I am available before and after school and most afternoons I attend to my Principal duties.
