Programs for Families with Young Children (Infant to Kindergarten)
ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education)
Lac qui Parle Valley ECFE offers a variety of opportunities for families with young children to spend time together as a family or one-to-one (one parent, one child). ECFE is a great place to get acquainted with other parents in the community who have young children. Classes offer parent child activities that give parents a special time with their child as well as a time to discuss parenting issues with other moms and dads

Is your family new to the community? Please call the Community Education Office to get on our census and to receive information about preschool screening, ECFE and preschool classes and special events.

If possible, please register one week in advance of each event or class.
The fees we charge for programs may be waived for any family.
Lac qui Parle Valley ECFE invites all families with children infant up to kindergarten to participate in the special events and classes hosted in Madison, Appleton, and Milan. Choose the location and days that work best for you.
Fall Class Sessions
All families with young children, infant up to kindergarten, are encouraged to select the location and time that works best for them. The fee for eight sessions is $16/family. All fees may be waived.
Mondays Eight Sessions beginning September 29
MMN Elementary Preschool Room (East Wing)
4:30-6:00 p.m. or 6:15-7:45 p.m.
A light supper is available for participating families between the two classes from 6:00-6:15 p.m.
Tuesdays Eight Sessions beginning September 30
Appleton `52 Wing
5:00-6:30 p.m.
Playtime in the Gym 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Thursdays Six Sessions beginning October 9, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Milan Community School Children`s Room
Friday Mornings Eight Sessions beginning September 26

 ECFE `Shower` for Infants up to One Year Old & Their Families

We have gifts for you and your baby. Bring photos to make a page for your baby`s album-all supplies will be provided along with help in putting the page together. Activities will be provided for your older children an schoolage children.
