“Rising Star Dance”

Lessons will begin week of November 10. Dance will be held in Madison on Mondays and Wednesdays in Appleton. Schedules will be available on the Community Education web site, the elementary schools, & high school late September.
Tumbling/Gymnastics Grades 2-8
Five Sessions

Grades 4-6 (Jr. High students welcome) 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Karen coached in Benson for eight years. She was coach of the team that currently holds the school`s record. Karen also coached four gymnasts in the State Competition. She has volunteered as coach for the LqPV comp squad tumblers for the past two years.
The program focuses on teaching the basics of Tumbling, Cartwheel, Round off, and Backhand springs. If you are interested in being a member of the success LQPV Competiton Cheer Squad in the future, this program is for you!

Classes are based on “Follow the Leader” learning by example. No one gets left behind! All supplies are provided and paintings are completed by the end of the class session! Students and adults of all ages are invited to participate. The instructor believes that we all have a desire to be creative and that taking a break from our day-to-day routines enriches us and energizes us for the rest of our lives. The painting will be a landscape scene - participants will choose between mountains or rolling hills, clouds in the sky, or trees.

Children and adluts benefit from Tae Kwon Do. It’s a great workout and fun while learning self-defense. New students are welcome anytime. Interested in learning more? You’re invited to observe a session.
Kidstime - School Age Child Care Monday through Friday
MMN Elementary School

After School until 6:00 p.m.
Kidstime provides quality child care for students in grades K-6. Children spend time in a variety of supervised activities, some active and other quiet. Wave Cutters Swim Team
The Wave Cutters swim team is part of USA Swimming, the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States. Wave Cutters is a Community Education sponsored, parent run organization designed to provide a structured swimming program for youth in grades 1-12. Swimmers from the Lac qui Parle school district and surrounding area are welcome to join the team.
Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Oct. 28 at the LqPV pool.
Grades 5-12: 3:30 to 5:00; cost $85.
Grades 1-4: 4:00 to 5:00; cost $70. (Busing available.)
Swimmers who choose to compete at USA sanctioned meets must pay an additional fee of $75.
