Community Education Updates

The Lac qui Parle Valley Community Education Office is located at the high school. Our part-time secretary is Sue Volk, who is also the school district payroll clerk. Her office is located in the School District Office. Enter on the west side, outside door #4. Pat Swenson is the part-time Community Education assistant. She also serves as a Child Guide in both the high school and Appleton Elementary buildings. Bev Struxness is the LqPV Community Education Director and ECFE School Readiness Coordinator.

ACT Prep Workshop

This workshop has been developed to assist students and help them prepare for the ACT. It teaches them the strategies necessary for attacking the types of questions the new tests will cover as well as providing general test taking tips. Participants will receive a detailed study guide that provides detailed explanations of the correct answer for each practice question and 27 practice workouts.
