  •   Swing Choir will meet next week on Monday and Friday at 7:30 am sharp!
  • The pep band will be playing for the Football Game Friday, Oct. 10 and the Volleyball game Tuesday,

 Oct. 14.

 7-12th Grade GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Girl’s Locker room will be locked after school (tonight) on Friday October 10th.
  • For yearbook Sharon from Jostens will be here 1st – 5th hour on Monday October 13th.  If you have a Study Hall during one of these hours please come to the media Center. Yearbooks meeting on Monday October 13th at Noon- bring lunch to Media Center. 
  • The Media Center will be closed Friday, October 10th 4th & 5th hour.
  • The following Asset Builders will be excused on Monday, Oct. 13th from 11:30 to 3:00:  Calli Bergerson, Carly Dahle, Amber Helgemo, Kayla Henneberg, Kinenta Herman, Rachel Streich and Hayley Wittnebel.
  • -The following Asset Builders will be excused on Tuesday, Oct. 14th from 11:30-3:00:  Alyssa Arnold, Jace Enger, Justin Hughes, Holland Lind, Colleen Morken, Adrian Olson, April Schmiesing and Karley Weir.

 STUDENT ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

  •  *Mandatory Varsity & JV Tennis Meeting on Friday, October 10th in room A103 to turn in uniforms After School.
  • All FCCLA fees must be paid by this Friday, October 10.  Also, members must return permission forms for the fall meeting in Litchfield by this date.
  • Any FCCLA Members planning to attend the Fall Summit must return permission forms by Wednesday, October 15.
  • Sign up until Friday for Knowledge Bowl.  We will have our first meeting Monday, October 13th during respective lunch hours.  See Mrs. Jones in A137 with any questions.
  • Any FFA members that can help with concessions please contact Mr. Anderson.
  • Fall Play practices will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm.  Please see Jenna in the Counseling Office if you are unable to attend practice. 

            GUIDANCE OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

·        Reminder to NHS members:  Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center forms and money are due in the counselor’s office by Tuesday, October 14th. National Honor Society Induction pictures are available to order in the counselor’s office.

·                    Next ACT Test Date is Saturday, October 25, 2008.  Students must have one form of picture identification (driver’s license).  Identification forms are available in the counselor’s office, which are required if you do not have another form of picture ID.

  • PSAT Test will be given on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 beginning at 8:20 a.m. in the theater.  To date the following students have registered for the test and will be excused periods 1-4 for testing: Samantha Bednarek, Danielle Brehmer, Kiona DuFrane, Kalyn Gloege, Zach Jensen, Jordyn Kalthoff, Scott Ludvigson, Zachary  Moen, Colleen Morken, Rachel Streich, Holly Webber, Karley Weir, Hayley Wittnebel, Brandon Zinda – Registration forms are due in the counselor’s office no later than Monday, October 13th
  • October 7th-October 22nd:  The following students will be excused to help with magazine sales at the beginning of first hour (5-10 minutes) and at whittle (9:10 a.m.):  Jack Massee, Kayla Henneberg, Ashley Knudson, Baxter DuFrane, Miranda Bonk, Ben Schmidt, Alexis Monson and Chase Keimig. 
  • National Honor Society members will be excused Monday, October 20th, to attend a day event at the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center in Spicer.
  • The following students will be excused Monday, October 13th, to attend the National Honor Society Fall Workshop in Apple ValleyErin Brustuen, Nichole Anderson, Adrian Olson, Kelsey Smith, Melanie Putz, Micaela Erickson, Tanya Roggenbuck and  Tiffany Hanen.

  • Any students interested in receiving peer tutoring please contact Mr. Anderson or Mr. Lowry in counseling office.
  • The Driver Award program registration forms and information is available in the counselor’s office.  Students must be 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license to be eligible to register.  Monthly drawings will be held for eligible participants with a grand prize drawing to be held at the end of year.  A signature consent form from parents is required.
