I started teaching elementary art at Appleton, MN in 1970. I've been in the same district throughout my teaching career. Most of my teaching experience is in the elementary level. I have also taught at the Jr. High level for a few years.

At the present I'm teaching at the Appleton-Milan and Madison elementary schools.I love to do various types of art painting, fiber and print making are some of my favorites. I also enjoy refinishing furniture.

My family consists of four sons and one daughter.I've been involved in various types of art activities such as community ed. classes, painting murals, and art activities of various kinds in school and community.

My love for Art has always been strong. Children have always been a part of my life. Putting the two together gave me a good reason to teach art. Art is a very important part of everyones life. It's all around us. Through teaching art I can help develop the creative part of the brain. Each work of art is special because it comes from the heart of the creator (the student).

The best time taht I can be reached is after school.
