My name is Scott Sawatzky. I am the middle school principal, activities director, and testing coordinator in the Lac qui Parle Valley school district. This is my 8th year at Lac qui Parle Valley and my first with the new job assignments. I am very excited about the new challenges that lie ahead.

I feel very fortunate to work within the LqPV school district. Every day and in every classroom, compassion and commitment are found. Students feel a sense of safety, while being rigorously challenged in their academic endeavors. I am proud of what we are currently accomplishing and excited about what we are working towards.

The middle school staff are all very effective educators. As we enter the first year of our building realignment/transition, I am very confident that this staff will ensure the success of our students. There are many new and exciting opportunities that the 5th and 6th grade students will be afforded due to this transition. More than anything, it is and opportunity to connect and get with classmates and families district wide.
