CALL TO ORDER

AGENDA

Gentile moved, Mitchell seconded to approve the agenda.  Motion carried.

MINUTES

Funderburg moved, Tebben seconded to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of October 22, 2007.  Motion carried.

FINANCIAL REPORT

Brenda Domeier, Director of Finance reported on enrollment, 2006-07 audit and the 2007-08 revised budget.

BILLS

Tebben moved, Weber seconded to approve the bills totaling $206,114.41 and manual checks totaling $29,315.45 for a total of $235,429.86.  Roll call:  Weber – yes; Gentile – yes; Funderburg – yes; Pillatzki – abstained; Mitchell – yes; Tebben – yes.  Motion carried.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Matt Brehmer, Student Council Representative, gave the board an update on Student Council Activities.

Tebben moved, Pillatzki seconded to approve the following personnel items.  Roll call:  Pillatzki – yes; Tebben – yes; Weber – yes; Funderburg – abstained; Gentile – yes; Mitchell – yes.  Motion carried.

AMENDED 2007-08 BUDGET

Funderburg moved, Mitchell seconded to approve the amended fund budget totals as presented.  Motion carried.

REPORTS

Interim Superintendent Ray Farwell reported on the school board convention, capital projects and the Superintendent Search process.

Principal Jon Fulton reported on MCA tests, Student/ Board Forum.

Principal Renae Tostenson reported on conferences, special education teachers, heating system at the Appleton/Milan Elementary, accelerated math and music concerts.

Principal Scott Sawatzky reported on conferences, science museum, math grant and Q-Comp, athletic awards.

Education Representatives Heidi Tosel, Carmen Vaala, Amy Giles and Laura Gooch reported on activities in the buildings.

Community Education Director, Bev Struxness, reported on old bill collections, funding, summer recreation, fitness center and the 52 Wing.

Mitchell moved, Funderburg seconded to adjourn.
